Busy busy busy

Life is hectic here. I am so tired. No one told me having two was hard work (OK they did, but I don't think I believed them!)

Oscar is a nightmare. He pokes his sister in the eye, pushes her over, hits her, hits others etc etc etc. I hate the disciplining. I lose my temper and find it all really really hard. Two year olds are horrible and lovely all at the same time. Ugh. He tried to sing "Wind the bobbin up" today and got Jasmine some appropriate toys twice. Why does he have to be so mean??? :(

Jasmine is wonderful, she is rolling, clapping, eating solids. She has her moments, and I am not favouritising (or whatever the term might be) but boy am I going to be ready when she is 2....

In other news, I am busy selling things. I managed to get rid of our double Phil & Teds for a superb price, and I am also spending the money I made, for a sling.... ergo. Its brilliant, red and has my name all over it. YAY.

I have something going on tomorrow night, but I'm keeping quiet on that for a day or so. All will be revealed on Friday (just in case you're wondering... I'm not upduffed! lol)
I also have my friend Kel, who now lives in Australia coming up to Manchester for the weekend and I can't wait.
I also have a German tutorial, but I am beginning to wonder if I will make that.....
So, like I say, busy busy busy
Well, at least we have a cleaner now. They did a great job on the house... lets just hope we can keep it clean.

Photo time 1 - Paris

So, here is Paris... the order is completely screwed, but I can't be arsed to correct it! Please excuse the lack of pictures of Jas. She was slung for most of the trip and thus avoided much photography!

Sneak preview

Well, sort of... these are from a couple of weeks ago.

Oscar

Long time no write

So, no excuses for not writing. Apart from our ahort holiday!

We've just back from a short break to Paris. It ended up being a lot longer than intended, thanks to Span's hastily arranged trip for work to Finland.

We were all set to get the train from Stockport to Paris, via London. However, as he was due in Finland the day we arrived back, I couldn't make it back all my lonesome. So, to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, I stayed in London and saw my parents and sister and we came back all together today.

Paris was a great as ever. Oscar was a nightmare. Jasmine beaten up. Us pissed off.

We went to a couple of parks; "Jardin de Luxembourg" and "Jardin d'Acclimatation" were superb and great for children. Department Stores, on the other hand, were solely a vessel for Oscar to throw ridiculous tantrums, demand trips on the escalators and generally be a complete pain in the arse.

I have learnt my lesson... NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. :D (shopping)

BLW has taken a back burner the last week or so, but Jas is a hungry girl, so I just don't think milk is keeping her happy anymore. I intend to crack on with "proper" meals now, anticipating the dropping of one of her 4 bottles fairly soon.

She had some of Oscar's beef stew (large chunks of beef, spuds, carrots basically... from the Annabel Karmel book) and some peas, with a teeny bit of help from me.

I think Potty training, or rather gentle hints about the toilet start now. The boy is a nightmare at nappy changes and I've had enough. Oh joy.

Photos (of hols, not potty training!) to follow soonish.
